You don't need an expensive camera to take a good picture, and the photos found in my portfolio are proof of that. A good majority of my work was taken with a basic point-and-shoot style digital camera, the 5-megapixel Samsung Digimax 530. This was my first digital camera, and I learned a lot about photography with it.

My primary camera currently is the Nikon P5000. With add-on lenses and the most manual settings you can find in a non-SLR camera, it was a good move up from my trusty Samsung.

I have done some work with film cameras, though not much has made it into my portfolio. I've used a Konica Minolta Maxxum AF, and an Olympus XA2. I hope to do more work with film in the future, as I feel there is a certain quality to the pictures that you just don't get with digital.

If you have any questions about the cameras I've mentioned, please let me know.
